In the perfume industry we have come to recognise and describe certain notes as being amber. For example, ambroxan, benzoin, sandalwood are usually used as an interpretation of the smell of amber. I wanted to take the glamour of an amber perfume from a bygone era and give it a modern and contemporary fresh entrance.
