Lindas notes
The Reimagined concept was a challenge and turned out to be much more difficult than I expected : obliged to step outside of my normal mindset and change the way I see a perfume or the thought pattern interlinking, name, story and new ingredients. There were moments where I felt I was not getting anywhere, but then I devised a new way to come up with a name by turning things on their head and starting backwards, from the end rather than from my usual beginning. After that, the ideas began to flow.
I took names of books, songs and films, cut them up and put them in a bowl and took them out like a “Lucky Dip”. A new adventure chosen at random, selected by chance, or perhaps by destiny.
At last, I was on a roll.
