كان السفر إلى Laos بحثًا عن شجرة Agar تجربةً فريدة. فبعد أن شممتُ الأود في صورة عطر زيتي، تغلّب عليّ فضولي. ولم أصل إلى غابات Agar البعيدة فحسب، بل وصلتُ أيضًا إلى Nana في Bangkok لأشاهد التقطير البخاري للأود. لقد كان كنزًا عطريًا، إذ كنتُ أعلم أن لا أحد قد استخدم هذا الزيت الاستثنائي في عطر راقٍ.
