The Damascene rose is, for me, the rose against which all others are measured: both warm and weightless at once. For Rosae I wanted to do something a little playful, a drop of pear, a whisper of blackcurrant, a softness of musk underneath. The result is a rose scent with a gourmand shimmer, intimate enough to enjoy in the private rooms of the house and never, ever cloying.
