There are many aspects to a floral expression: fresh, fruity, gourmand and powdery. This is the largest family of perfumes and easy to recognise. A single flower is usually a few ingredients to recreate the aroma of a flower. A floral bouquet refers to mixed flowers, most flowers used in our palate are jasmine, rose, freesia, magnolia, champaca, osmanthus and gardenia. Extraction method: Flower petals are placed in a vat and left for the scent to infuse. After a few days the flowers are removed and more flowers are put in to repeat the process. This process is known as enfleurage.
